in the hospital with my daddy. :P he’s even funnier when he’s drugged up. lol.
but, he shouldn’t be here. i wish that none of this had ever happened and that i didn’t have to spend my first week of summer the way that i am. god does things for a reason, though, and i just have to remember that. everything will be okay in the end and he’s gonna be taken care of.
and hopefully, sometime later this week, after all of the surgeries, we’ll be headed home! in the meantime, i’ll just keep praying and asking god to watch over my daddy.

bought my plane ticket to los angeles today. i absolutely cannot wait to see andrew… just forty days until i’m exploring california with my two best friends!
today feels like christmas… opening day is finally here!! hoping my braves can pull of an amazing season! :)
you tell me that your flight is coming into atlanta… you better believe that i will be at the airport the minute that plane lands. :)
so glad i got to see this kid tonight, even if it was only for an hour in the middle of the airport food court. i love him so much and am so proud of everything that he’s doing with his life. thinking of him makes me want to push myself to be a better person. he is such an inspiration to me, and so many other people. i don’t know what i would do without my best friend. <3
adx tug 2012 = experience of a lifetime. :)
i had so much fun today with my sisters and got lots of support from my awesome roomies and boyfriend. it was amazing. had you told me from day one of training that i would enjoy being in a giant mud pit pulling a rope, i would have told you that you were insane. but, it was something that i will never forget and will look back on and be so proud of myself for. i pushed myself farther than i thought i ever could, got close to some of the most awesome people ever, and even strengthened my relationship with god. without those things, today would have never even been possible. i can definitely say that being a part of adx has changed my life, and i thank god every day for that.
FEROCIOUS FRUIT LOOP… adx ‘til i die. :)

aaaaahhhhhh! i can’t wait for opening day. :)
